How to choose a art board name
Artists also use Pinterest for mood and color inspiration, which suits more poetic names. Use those for palette and inspiration boards, and keep reference boards plain.
Name reference boards by subject (hands, faces, poses) or medium (watercolor, gouache), since you will search them while working. Artists selling prints can add boards that match buyer searches, such as Wall Art for Living Room.

Art board name FAQ
How should an artist selling prints name boards?
Think like a buyer: Wall Art for Bedroom, Botanical Prints, Abstract Wall Art. Then add process boards for your community.
Are reference boards worth keeping public?
Yes, many people search for drawing and pose references. Keep them tidy and clearly named so they are useful to others too.
What makes a good color palette board name?
Plain names like Color Palettes or Muted Color Palettes are searched. An aesthetic name works if it is just for your own inspiration.
