Pinterest Pins for Podcast Episodes and Show Notes

Audio is hard to share as an image, but each episode comes with plenty to work with: guest photos, cover art, a quotable line and a show notes page that answers a real question. QuickPinMaker turns those into vertical pins that tell a searcher what the episode covers and where to listen, in a few minutes per episode. It suits a small show with no designer just as well as a large one.

Why podcasters use Quick Pin Maker

Pinterest suits shows built on advice, interviews and how-to topics, because people look for answers there. Link the pin to your show notes or episode page rather than a streaming app, so a visitor lands somewhere with context. The tool runs in your browser, with no sign-up and no upload of guest photos. Short, factual descriptions of the topic usually serve listeners better than teasers that give nothing away.

    Quote pins from the transcript

Pick the one sentence a guest said that you would underline, set it as the title in Top Text layout, and put the guest photo or show art below. A strong line can stand alone as a pin, and it points readers to the full conversation. Always check the guest is happy with the quote and photo. It also gives your guest something polished to share with their own audience when the episode releases.

Show notes get a traffic source

A detailed show notes page can rank for the topic of the episode, and a pin gives it another way to be found. Link the pin to that page, write a description that mentions the subject and the guest, and the episode is discoverable by people who never searched a podcast directory. The pin acts as a doorway, so make sure the show notes reward a click with a summary, links and a clear way to listen.

    Guest photos stay local

Headshots and cover art are processed on your device, not uploaded by the tool. When a guest sends a photo that is not yet public, you can build the pin in your browser and only the finished PNG leaves it. That keeps pre-release episodes quiet until launch day. Only the finished image is ever created as a file, which keeps handling simple and predictable.

    Consistent show branding

Use your cover art colors for the title and band, choose a font that suits the tone, and save the brand kit. Every episode pin then reads as part of the same series, and your show name prints at the bottom of each image so the source stays obvious when it is saved to a board. Do the setup once and each new episode only needs a fresh title and a new photo.

A weekly pinning workflow for podcasters

    1. Pull assets at episode wrap

While the show notes are fresh, save the guest photo, the cover art and one quote from the transcript. Doing it at wrap means you do not have to rediscover the best line a week later. Note the timestamp of the quote.

    2. Write the topic, not just the title

Pinterest users search for subjects. A pin that says 'How to Start Freelancing' will draw more than one that only says 'Episode 42'. Put the topic first and the episode number on a later line, or leave it out. Write the topic in everyday words.

    3. Make a quote pin and a topic pin

Create one pin with the guest quote and one with the practical takeaway. Use Duplicate and remix to flip colors. Two angles on the same episode will reach different searchers, and the pins don't look like copies. Choose the one you like best.

    4. Publish with the show notes link

Upload both pins, link them to the show notes page, and use a description with the topic and guest name. Revisit evergreen episodes every few months with new pins instead of letting them sit unused. Add the guest name to the description.

    FAQs for podcasters

Can I add my podcast cover art?

Yes. Add the cover art as a photo, then pair it with a title in the Top Text layout or use it in a collage with a guest headshot. Cover art is square, so a 1000 by 1000 square pin may suit it without cropping.

Does it work for quote pins?

Yes. The Top Text layout prints your quote in bold uppercase on a solid block above a photo. Keep quotes short, since the title is auto-sized to fit and longer lines get smaller. Use line breaks to control where the quote wraps.

    Where should the pin link?

Link to your show notes or episode page rather than a player in an app, because that page can explain the topic and offer subscribe buttons. The link is set when you upload to Pinterest, not inside this tool. Add listening links on that page for convenience.

Can I make an audiogram or video pin?

No. QuickPinMaker only makes static images for now, and there are no video pins. You can still create the image, upload it to Pinterest, and link to a page where listeners can play the episode. Bring the episode audio to listeners through the linked page.

Is this pin maker really free with no watermark?

Yes. Every layout, size and export is free, with no sign-up and no watermark on the PNG. The only branding on your pin is the site name you type in.

    Are my photos uploaded?

No. Photos are processed inside your browser tab and never sent to a server. Closing the tab discards them.
