This splitter cuts one image into a grid of rows and columns, up to 5 by 5, and saves each tile as its own file. Choose pin-shaped 2:3 tiles, square tiles, or keep the image as it is and cut it into equal parts. The preview draws the cut lines and numbers each tile so you can see the result before downloading.
Tiles are cut at the full resolution of your original image, not from the preview, and saved as PNG or JPG in one ZIP. Use them for carousel slides, a set of pins that join into one picture on a board, or printable panels. The image is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Choosing rows, columns and tile shape
With 2:3 tiles, the image is first cropped so the whole grid fits: 1 row of 3 columns needs a 2:1 image, and 2 rows of 2 columns needs a 2:3 image. If your image is a different shape, the center is kept and the edges are trimmed. Choose "keep the image as is" when nothing may be cut and the tiles can be any shape.
The summary under the preview shows how big each tile will be. For sharp pins, aim for tiles at least 1000 pixels wide; a very wide grid on a small image gives small, soft tiles.
Ways to use split images
Split a panorama into a 1 by 3 strip for a seamless carousel, cut a large infographic into readable 2:3 sections, or make a 3 by 3 puzzle grid for a board cover set. For carousel slides with optional slide numbers, the carousel maker is quicker.
