Pinterest business accounts can create many pins at once by uploading a CSV file. The catch is the format: the column names have to match, every pin needs a public link to the image or video file, video pins need a thumbnail, and a publish date in the wrong format means the pin is not published. One typo can cost you a whole batch.
This builder writes the file for you. Each pin gets its own card with the eight columns from Pinterest's help page, and every field is checked as you type: title and description length, link format, board name, thumbnail rules for videos and publish date format. You can import an existing CSV or Excel file, paste rows from Google Sheets or Excel, and spread publish dates over the coming days. Nothing is uploaded; your rows are saved only in this browser.
The columns Pinterest expects
Title (required, up to 100 characters). Media URL (required): a public link to the file itself, typically ending in .jpg, .png or .mp4. Pinterest board (required): the board name, or Board/Section for a section; boards and sections that do not exist yet are created. Thumbnail: required for videos only, as mm:ss, a number of seconds, or an image URL with the same aspect ratio as the video; leave it blank for images.
Description (up to 500 characters). Link: the page the pin sends people to. Publish date: blank publishes right away, a future date like 2026-11-03 schedules the pin, and 2026-11-03T08:00:00 sets the time in UTC. Keywords: a comma separated list of search terms. These rules come from Pinterest's Bulk upload Pins help article, so check it before a large upload in case anything has changed.
Where to host the images
Pinterest downloads each file from the Media URL, so the link has to open the image itself, not a page that shows it. Uploading pins to your own site's media library and copying the file address is the most reliable option. Share links from Google Drive or Dropbox usually open a preview page and fail.
Need the pins first? The bulk pin maker turns a list of titles into matching pin images, and the pin size guide covers the 2:3 size that shows best in the feed.
